General Description
This project consisted of the design and construction for the installation of a new MRI into an existing shell space. The space was to include the MRI, equipment room, control room and changing areas. The design was for a new rooftop-mounted MRI chiller, MRI exhaust system and AC system.
Key Features
- Mechanical design included rework of the existing supply air, return air and exhaust systems serving the adjacent areas to allow for the installation of new systems to serve the MRI suite
- Plumbing design included rework of existing domestic water distribution, sanitary and vent systems to serve the MRI equipment room, rooftop equipment and AC equipment
- Electrical design included extension of the existing 480V and 208V power distribution to serve MRI equipment panel and 208V panel
