This client required a new entry/visitor center for their remote campus and wanted to go sustainable. This client turned to HAWA, BHDP and Messer Construction to design and construct a Net Zero Energy Building. The 2,000-square-foot facility incorporates a geo-exchange heat pump system, a photovoltaic array, a green roof and an energy-monitoring dashboard. Thanks in part to our engineers’ design work, this project earned LEED Gold status.
HAWA designed the MEP systems to support the building and adjacent guardhouse, including site electrical distribution and campus distribution of voice, data, paging and security systems on this project.
