World-Famous Fountain

Did you know that Columbus is home to one of the best fountains in the world? The Scioto Mile Fountain was included on a CNN list of the world’s 15 most spectacular fountains, and with spring just around the corner, it’s time to plan a trip to this landmark!

Not only is it an incredible architectural piece, the fountain also serves as an interactive aquatic play space that covers 15,000 square feet. There are 1,000 water jets at its base, a center fountain that launches water 75 feet in the air, and fog nozzles and lighting effects for nighttime viewing.
