SFPE Recognizes Cincinnati/Tri-State Chapter for Excellence

At its 2017 North America Conference & Expo in Montreal, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) presented the Cincinnati/Tri-State chapter with a Silver Award for Chapter Excellence. HAWA Incorporated Project Manager Julie Winslow, PE, serves as the president of the chapter.

The award was given in recognition of the chapter’s outreach to both members of the organization as well as students, the excellence of its board members serving on National Code writing committees, and the level of engagement the chapter sees. As president, Winslow visited a Girl Scout STEM camp to present about engineering as a career.

SFPE’s motto is “Engineering a Fire Safe World,” and HAWA Incorporated strives to carry out that mission in our work. Congratulations to the Cincinnati/Tri-State chapter of SFPE and to Julie Winslow!
